
Wilson names Scholarship side to take on Castleford Tigers
Hull KR Scholarship Head Coach, Matty Wilson has named his team for the junior Robins’ clash against Castleford Tigers U16s at Sewell Group Craven Park, kick-off 7pm.
For today’s game, Jake Ivory (Myton Warriors) will make his U16 debut for Hull KR. The side will also include Wales U16s players, Cole Pelopida and Evan Williams (both Torfaen Tigers) are included in the side.
Matty Wilson’s side go into the game having recorded back to back impressive away wins over St. Helens and Wigan Warriors while edging the Robins’ scholarship program towards 40 player used throughout their so-far unbeaten season.
For the game against Castleford, James Wilson is at fullback with Riley Dunn at right wing while Cam Brigham and Evan Williams line up at centre and goal-kicking winger, Henry Hope is on the left edge.
Ireland U16s standoff, Josh Guynan partners Scotland U16s scrum half, Evan Adamson at while Scotland U16s Captain, Drew Docherty alongside Michael Obasi make up the front row with Charlie Forrester at hooker.
Henry Tully and Luca Irwin are selected at second-row while Alfie Woods continues at loose forward. Ireland U16s International, Alex Gorman is on the bench with Jake Ivory, Alfie Ebot Enombi, Preston Pettman, Cole Pelopida, Harry Moore and Riley Dunn.
