Road Closures
Local residents have been informed about the road closures which will be in place. A full version of the letter issued, and key details can be found here.
Please note whilst signage around the area indicates the closures will be for the full day, the intention of the traffic management team is to allow traffic to flow as normal as possible until 2pm where restrictions will tighten and become a full road closure by 3pm. Note, if the safety team deem it necessary to fully restrict vehicle assess before that time due the volume of people in the area, they will do so.
Wherever possible, please avoid any unnecessary journeys in and around the area, to help ease congestion, and allow extra time for your journey across both event days.
For residents who have multiple vehicles at their property requiring permits, please email your car insurance certificate which shows each individual vehicle registration plate and home address to concert@hullkr.co.uk.
The Traffic Management Plan for this event has been agreed with the local council, the emergency services, and the local Safety Advisory Group with a view to ensuring the public safety of those attending the concert whilst seeking to limit the inconvenience caused to local residents and businesses.
We are sure you will understand the Traffic Management Plan is in place to ensure the safety of the public and residents, and provide a safe environment which will ensure the City can attract major events like this again in the future which are so crucial to our local economy.
We are enormously proud, that alongside Wembley Stadium, the only other UK stadium to host the band on this tour, we are able to bring the world’s biggest band to East Hull for what promises to be a special two evenings for our area.
Should you wish to raise any concerns about the proposed plans, please contact concert@hullkr.co.uk.
