The Hull KR Development Academy is a full-time, high-performance Rugby League & Education programme designed to support young athletes aged 16-19.
Delivered in a professional environment and aligned with the Hull KR Academy system, the programme provides students with a clear pathway into professional Rugby League whilst gaining valuable qualifications.
The Development Academy system is open to both professional and community-level players.
Students have access to professional coaching from existing Hull KR Academy staff, which includes -
· 2x Skill Development sessions (per week)
· 2x Athletic Development sessions (per week)
· 1x Combat Room session (per week)
· 1x Video Analysis session (per week)
· Ongoing nutritional support
· Playing opportunities in the RFL National College Competition
Alongside the Rugby League programme, students undertake recognised academic qualifications designed to support a wide range of career opportunities. Courses available to students -
· Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports & Physical Activity
· A-Level Psychology
· Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Business
· GCSE English & Maths
