SAFETY AND SECURITY
Supporter safety remains a top priority at Sewell Group Craven Park and several security updates have been added to the stadium in recent years.
A new matchday stewarding company has been appointed to improve the experience and safety of all supporters across the stadium. In particular, the East Stand has significantly more resources applied, to assist the ticket check-point / Craven Streat entry and also ensure all aisles marked in yellow are clear. Any supporters who do not cooperate with our safety teams will be asked to leave the stadium immediately.
The club also has detection dogs in operation, helping to identify pyrotechnics and controlled substances. Any supporter found attempting to bring prohibited items into the stadium will face an indefinite ban, with no refund issued.
As a reminder, prams are not permitted inside the stadium, and the club is unable to offer pram storage. With Sewell Group Craven Park expected to be at full capacity throughout the season, prams can pose a risk to safe and efficient evacuation procedures, as well as not complying with enhanced safety and anti-terrorism measures.
With the UK terrorism threat level now classed as severe, please refrain from leaving bicycles against gates and fences. Please use the bicycle racks provided in the West Stand Car Park.
In the event of an attack, Counter Terrorism Policing advises you to:
· RUN If it’s safe, this is the best option.
· HIDE If you can’t run, hide.
· TELL the police by calling 999 when it is safe to do so.
We ask all staff and visitors to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or unattended items to Security immediately.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in maintaining site security.
