Robins Host Elite Performance Centre Taster Session With Exciting Offer

Hull KR can confirm the club will be hosting an Elite Performance Centre taster session with a exciting new offer on Tuesday 26th August between 2:30pm and 4pm.

The Robins have introduced a new “Refer a Friend” scheme for the Elite Performance Centre.

Prospective students will be given a £100 cash voucher for each friend they refer to the Elite Performance Centre once the friend enrols on the course*

The Elite Performance Centre is Hull KR’s own college. The first semester will start this September and will be based at Hull KR’s Sewell Group Craven Park in the RSV North Stand.

25 places are available this year and this will grow year-on-year. For this year, it is for Year 11 leavers and for boys only.

The courses available are:

- Level 3 Sport

- Level 3 Psychology (optional)

- GSCE Maths and English (If required)

These courses will provide direct links to further progression and university applications will be supported by the club.

The timetable is full-time and will incorporate practical rugby development sessions which will include strength and conditioning in the gym. Students will play college games every Wednesday throughout the league season.

The taster day at Sewell Group Craven Park will give prospective players and their families a chance to learn more about the club’s full-time education and rugby programme that forms part of the Hull KR Elite Performance Centre.

The programme has only a handful of places remaining for the 2025/26 intake, with recruitment nearly at full capacity. The upcoming open day will offer a final opportunity for those keen to join Hull KR’s Elite Performance Centre and be part of an exciting era of development at the club.

The day will include player-led training sessions, academic taster workshops, and talks from key coaching and education staff, giving attendees a full overview of the club’s commitment to holistic player development.

The recommended friend must be enrolled on an SCL Education programme in order for the recommender to receive a £100 cash voucher. The offer will run until Friday 31st October 2025.

While the recommender is able to recommend more than one friend, the limit is 5 friends. Places on course are limited.
