Robins confirm Scholarship intake for 2024
Hull KR are delighted to welcome 19 players to their scholarship program for the forthcoming year from six community clubs in Hull and its surrounding areas. The new scholars were officially unveiled at halftime of Sunday’s Hull Derby.
Head of Academy, Jason Netherton was excited with the Robins’ intake for 2024, securing the areas top talent : ‘We’re delighted with this year’s recruitment and fighting off competition from rival clubs to secure these players for our Scholarship program. We’re looking forward to working with them from August.
‘We’re bearing the success of our Scholarship program with former U16s players, Louix Gorman, Tom Smith and Lennie Ellis all being selected for Yorkshire’s Origin squad this year. We hope our newest Robins will aspire to those same heights when they start their journeys with us later this year.
