Once a Robin Always Robin - Hull KR Confirm 2026 Departures

Hull KR can confirm its departing players and staff at the end of the Robins’ 2026 Betfred Super League season.

The club would like to thank every player and member of staff moving on for their contribution to Hull KR and wish them all the very best for the future.

Alfie Petty and Alfie Woods

Young Robins Alfie Petty and Alfie Woods will depart the Robins at the conclusion of the 2026 season. Both players have represented the club across the Academy, Reserves and more recently first team level.

Leon Ruan

Leon Ruan will depart Hull KR following the conclusion of the 2026 season.

The back-rower joined the Robins from Leeds Rhinos and has spent this season on loan at Bradford Bulls.

Leon will move on to a new challenge in 2027 with the club’s best wishes.

Jack Brown

Jack Brown will leave the Robins at the end of the 2026 Betfred Super League season.

The powerful forward crossed the city to join Hull KR and added further strength and competition to the Robins’ pack throughout 2025 and the beginning of the 2026 season before joining Castleford Tigers in June.

Zach Fishwick

Zach Fishwick will depart Hull KR at the conclusion of the 2026 season. A product of the club’s pathway, the forward will now move on to the next chapter of his career after representing his hometown club.

Lee Kershaw

Lee Kershaw will leave Hull KR following the conclusion of the 2026 campaign.

The winger has provided valuable competition and depth to the Robins’ outside backs during his time at Sewell Group Craven Park and has also spent some time on loan with Huddersfield Giants in 2026.

The club would like to thank Lee for his contribution and wish him every success for the future.

Tevita Pangai Junior

Tevita Pangai Junior will depart the Robins at the end of the 2026 season. The forward arrived at Sewell Group Craven Park midway through this season.

Ryan Hampshire

Ryan Hampshire will leave Hull KR at the conclusion of the 2026 Betfred Super League season.

The experienced playmaker brought valuable versatility to the Robins’ squad, with his ability to operate across a number of positions in the spine.

Joe Burgess

Joe Burgess will depart Hull KR at the end of the 2026 season to take up an opportunity with another Betfred Super League club.

Burgess joined the Robins ahead of the 2024 campaign and quickly established himself as an important member of Willie Peters’ side.

The winger has played his part during a historic period for the club, producing a number of memorable moments in Red and White including winning the 2025 Treble and 2026 World Club Challenge.

As announced this week and with so much to play for in the remainder of 2026, Joe will have the opportunity to address the fans at the conclusion of this season.

Rhyse Martin

Rhyse Martin will retire at the end of the season bringing the curtain down on a storied career in the NRL and Super League.

The Papua New Guinea international joined Hull KR ahead of the 2025 campaign and quickly became an influential member of the squad both on and off the field.

Martin played an important role during a hugely successful period for the Robins, bringing experience, leadership and quality to the side. Rhyse also kicked three goals as the Robins defeated Wigan Warriors to complete the club's first ever Treble.

Everyone at Hull KR would like to wish all departing players and their families all the best for the future and thank them for their contribution to the club.

Departing Staff

Hull KR will also say farewell to three valued members of the club’s backroom staff at the conclusion of the 2026 campaign.

Senior Athletic Performance Coach Harry Coyle will depart the club to take on a new opportunity after playing an important role within the Robins’ performance department.

Rugby Operations Coordinator Sue Thompson will also leave Hull KR following her contribution behind the scenes to the day-to-day running of the club’s rugby operations. Sue has been a huge part of the Robins' backroom team for over 15 years. Everybody at the club would like to thank Sue for her contribution throughout her time at Sewell Group Craven Park, and wishes her and her family all the best for her future endeavours.

Kit Equipment Manager Alan Fellows will retire after his time working tirelessly behind the scenes to support the playing and coaching staff. Alan has seen it all throughout his 29 years with Hull KR and we are sure that we will still see him regularly around the club, whilst he returns to the stands to watch his boyhood team.

Willie Peters

As reported previously, Head Coach Willie Peters will depart Hull KR at the conclusion of the 2026 season, bringing an unforgettable four-year spell at Sewell Group Craven Park to an end.

Peters arrived ahead of the 2023 campaign and has overseen one of the most successful periods in the club’s history, transforming the Robins into one of the leading sides in Rugby League.

Under his leadership, Hull KR have competed on the biggest stages, lifted major silverware and created memories that will live long with everyone associated with the club.

However, Willie’s impact extends far beyond results and trophies. His standards, leadership and commitment have helped shape the culture of Hull KR and leave the club in a significantly stronger position than when he arrived.

Everyone at Hull KR would like to place on record their enormous gratitude to Willie for his contribution to the club and wish him and his family every success in their next chapter. Willie will also receive the recognition he so rightly deserves at 'An Evening with Willie Peters' on Tuesday 22nd September.
