Hull KR Scholarship Intake for 2027

Hull KR are delighted to welcome 17 new players into the Scholarship pathway for the 2027 season.

Head of Rugby League Development and Scholarship Head Coach Josh Riding, spoke on the development of these players and the way that they’re training:

“The new group of lads have made a really positive start alongside our second year players. Their attitude and application has been excellent and they have already set some very high standards. There is so much potential across both year groups and the hard work for these players starts now.

We also must recognise the support of the players, parents and coaches at their community club who have paid such a huge role in the players development so far and will continue to do so.

We have also made some really positive changes to our Talent Identification programme. Through modernising our scouting systems, we have been able to broaden our reach and identify players from a much wider area. Hull and its surrounding areas are always important to us, but now we are also looking further afield into North and South Yorkshire, Cumbria and clubs in the North West. Our new Scouting team will be visible at community games up and down the country.”
