Hull KR name 25-man squad to face Sheffield Eagles
Hull KR Head Coach, Willie Peters has named his 25-man squad to face Sheffield Eagles this Sunday in the Robins' first action of 2024., including 7 members of the Robins' Academy and Reserves pathways.
Peters has named a strong pack for the game with first team forwards, George King, Matty Storton and Yusuf Aydin all set to feature against the Eagles. The pack will then be bolstered by Academy graduates, Zach Fishwick and Leo Tennison with new signings, Reiss Butterworth and AJ Wallace locking the side together. Across Hull KR's three-quarter line, Corey Hall and Phoenix Laulu-Togaga'e and Louis Senior will feature in the first run out of the new year. Young winger, Neil Tchamambe will also look to make a positive first impression in Red and White after joining the club from Leeds Rhinos in the off-season.
The Robins' side will proudly feature 15 Academy products with Louix Gorman set to play at fullback, Connor Barley in the backline and Lennie Ellis to play in the Red and White's spine. Former Hull KR Academy Captain, Harvey Moore is pushing to make his first senior appearance for the club after a serious knee injury at the end of 2022 forced him to watch from the sidelines for the whole of last season.

Young backs, Ryan Moses, George Lauer and Josh Rautvou with winger, Oli Forsyth will further bolster the side's options in the backline while Reserves hooker, Jacob Parkinson and prop forward, Jack Handley will fly the flag for the club's Reserves side. Having made his debut for Yorkshire's Origin side last year, Tom Smith will be pushing make his first senior appearance after the young prop impressed last year.
A familiar name joins the side for the friendly with exciting second-rower, Barney Fishwick, brother of Hull KR prop Zach Fishwick, being included in the squad.
