Hull KR Launch the Robins Experience - An Exciting New Pathway Programme

Hull KR are delighted to announce the launch of the Robins Experience – a brand-new programme created to provide ongoing developmental opportunities for Boys aged Y7-Y11.

The Robins Experience is the first entry point into the Hull KR Academy system, offering a clear, genuine pathway into professional Rugby League for local community players.

The programme will provide access to high-quality, professional coaching that runs hand in hand with the community game.

The programme focuses on developing players’ fundamental skills through a variety of drills and modified small-sided games. Players will also work with the club’s strength & conditioning coaches to aid their athletic development.

For players in Y7-Y9, sessions will run every half term from February to October. Players in Y10 & Y11 will participate in multiple development blocks throughout the year, which include playing opportunities in fixtures & festivals with other clubs.

Hull KR Rugby League Development Manager, Josh Riding added: “The Robins Experience is the start of an exciting new era for the club, as we now look to provide ongoing development opportunities for players & coaches in Hull and the surrounding areas.

The club has committed to a long-term plan of developing our own talent, and this programme is the first step on the journey for young, aspiring athletes. The sessions are open access for all players in Y7-Y9, whilst our Y10/Y11group will be for non-scholarship players who are looking to keep developing their game”
