Hull KR launch Memorial Garden project in partnership with the Patt Foundation
Hull KR are delighted to team up with the Patt Foundation to work on a Memorial Garden project, as announced at last season's End of Season Awards Evening.
Now that work has started on the community-led 3G pitch, planning for the project is underway, and further details will be confirmed soon. Supporters can visit hullkr.co.uk/memorialgarden to register their interest and receive further information as its released.
Everyone at Sewell Group Craven Park knows this is the home of cherished memories, and precious time spent with family and friends.
We are therefore proud to offer our fans the Memorial Garden, providing a fitting final resting place.
Each plot within the garden will see a tree planted, along with the installation of a name plaque, providing a permanent location to intern ashes, or create a lasting legacy to a loved one.
Details of plot locations, prices and further information will be confirmed soon. Supporters will be able to either purchase plots for loved ones no longer with us, or purchase plots for themselves to reserve a final resting place for their ashes.
The project is not only a great, eco-friendly and cheaper alternative to many other internment options, but allows supporters to be spiritually with us for every home game, overlooking the club they love.
Further details will be confirmed soon, supporters are reminded to register their details to receive priority on further information and plot releases at hullkr.co.uk/memorialgarden.
