Hull KR confirm Scholarship Intake for 2025
Hull KR are thrilled to welcome 13 players to their scholarship program for the 2025 season, from four community clubs in Hull and even two clubs outside of East Yorkshire. The new scholars were officially unveiled at halftime of our clash against Catalans Dragons earlier this month.
Head of Academy, Jason Netherton spoke on his excitement ahead of the new intake joining the pathways system:
“We are really excited to announce our new intake of Scholars into the Hull KR Academy program.
Our talent identification team, led by Rob Wilson, have done a very comprehensive job in watching these players throughout the last year and bringing them on board with us.
There are a wide range of community clubs represented and I would like to thank them all for their hard work and effort in developing these young men into good players but also good people.
I am looking forward to watching their journey with us over the course of the next two years and beyond.”
Adding on to this, Academy Pathways Coordinator, Rob Wilson said:
“ I would also like to thank our talent ID scouts for their time and effort in helping us identify and recruit some of the best talent in Hull, West Yorkshire and beyond. We are all very excited to see how far in the game these boys can go.”
