Home is where the Heart is - Hull KR launch 2027 Home Kit

Celebrating the passion and heart of the club since 1882, the Robins’ new Home Kit nods to where the club’s story first began, paying tribute to our first ever home, affectionately known by supporters as Flag Edge Touch.

Predominantly red with the club’s iconic white band, the 2027 shirt combines a traditional Hull KR look with subtle details inspired by our beginnings and the generations of Robins who have represented the club since.

The story takes us back to Flag Edge Touch, the club’s original home. The shirt draws inspiration from those beginnings, celebrating the place where our journey started and the foundations on which generations of Robins have built the club we know today.

That connection to our history is also reflected in the return of a traditional collar for the first time since 2007, adding another classic touch to the 2027 design.

The heart of a Robin sits at the centre of its chest and, for the first time in over 25 years, so does our crest. The shirt features the Hull KR badge front and centre for the first time since 2000.

First team stars Tyrone May, Arthur Mourgue, Bill Leyland and Jack Charles took part in the kit photoshoot in the heart of our city at Hull City Hall – a venue where supporters, staff and players have shared so many memories together over the years.

Hull KR Chief Executive, Paul Lakin, said: “We’re really proud of this year’s Home Kit and the story behind it. Hull KR has changed enormously since those very first days at Flag Edge Touch, but the heart of the club has always remained the same.

“Home for Hull KR has never just been about where we play. It’s about our supporters, our city and the generations of people who have represented this club. We wanted this shirt to celebrate that history while still feeling unmistakably Hull KR.

“The central crest, traditional collar and subtle references to our first home all help bring that story together. After three years of a predominantly white home shirt, we also felt as though the time was right to bring back a mostly red design, whilst also keeping our traditional band.

We hope our supporters love the shirt and feel proud to wear it throughout 2027.”

The 2027 Hull KR Home Kit is on sale online now at hullkr.co.uk/2027home and will be available to purchase in-store from tomorrow at 10am.
