Doro joins Robins on two-year deal from 2025

Hull KR are delighted to confirm prop forward, Eribe Doro will join the club on a two-year deal from the 2025 Betfred Super League season.

A devastating runner with a dynamic offload game, Doro links up with the Robins on a two-year deal from Bradford Bulls after joining the West Yorkshire club mid-season in 2023.

A Warrington Wolves’ junior, Doro made his Super League debut in 2020 going to make three more appearances for the Wolves before joining Widnes.

The 23-year-old went on to feature for Widnes Vikings, Halifax Panthers and Bradford Bulls in the RFL Betfred Championship for the past four seasons, making 57 appearances and scoring 8 tries.

Speaking on Doro, Hull KR Head Coach, Willie Peters said: ‘We’re pleased Eribe (Doro) is joining the club in 2025. Eribe has worked hard to get the opportunity to return to Super League by being one of the standout front rowers in the Championship competition.

The progression Eribe has made during his time in the Championship will stand him in good stead for taking the next step in his journey. Eribe is ready to test himself as a Super League front rower.

‘Eribe will add real value to us with his aggressive running style and strong defence. We are looking to help develop Eribe’s game further in 2025 and beyond.’

Reacting to signing with Hull KR, Eribe Doro said: ‘I’m excited to join the club. Hull KR are doing some big things at the minute so when the opportunity came for me to join that and be a part of it, it was something I jumped at.

‘I had a few conversations with Willie (Peters) and he got me excited about the potential to improve my game at Hull KR. I’ve had a small taste of Super League when I was at Warrington, it was an experience I enjoyed. I play rugby to play at the highest levels to push myself and challenge myself.

‘My time in the Championship has done wonders for my game personally and allowed me to grow and mature. I’m at the age now were I’m ready to go back up to Super League and add something to a team while I improve and grow in a full-time environment. I’m a hard worker and every time I’m on the pitch I’m giving it 100% for the team.'
