Club to clamp down on potential membership misuse

Club to clamp down on potential membership misuse

Members renewing or joining us for the first time in 2025 are urged to read this important information.

Following a number of spot checks during the 2024 season, the club have uncovered a small number of fans who are using their membership or match tickets incorrectly.

Therefore, ahead of the 2025 season, a number of anti-fraud measures will be implemented to ensure all members are paying the correct amount, reflective of their personal circumstances.

  • All digital memberships and physical membership cards will now be colour coded by category, i.e. Adult, 19 -21 / 66+ or U18.
  • Your membership will also include a new large text box to indicate your category.
  • Turnstile scanners will display a message for any non-adult memberships or tickets which asks the operator to confirm they believe the person entering is the correct category.
  • All members on the U18 age category must submit ID electronically by December 31st before 2025 memberships are issued. Details will be sent to the lead booker of the membership. This will only need to be done once, and ID will not need to be reshown annually.
  • Tickets and memberships bought online which are not adults, must assign the tickets to the correct person in their online network who falls within the correct date of birth.
  • All non-ambulant disabled carers will be sent one membership with two barcodes on it, so the disabled supporter and carer have to enter the stadium at the same time. i.e. the carer cannot attend without the person they are caring for.

Should you think your details with the club are currently registered incorrectly, a ‘no questions asked’ amnesty will take place. Fans can come in-store or email membership@hullkr.co.uk with their supporter ID and date of birth, to have your account updated and this must be done by Thursday 31st October.

Any fans who attempt to enter the stadium on the wrong category level in 2025 will have their membership revoked, with no refund issued.

The club are confident all fans who pay the correct amount for their membership or tickets will welcome the changes and be sure everyone inside the stadium is paying the correct and fair amount to watch the Robins in 2025.
