2026 Safety and Matchday Improvements to Sewell Group Craven Park
Hull KR are excited to share some new safety and matchday improvements ahead of the 2026 Betfred Super League season at Sewell Group Craven Park.
With a record number of Full-season Members for the new season, the club have continued to invest in both supporter experience and stadium safety, ensuring every matchday is as enjoyable as possible for all fans.
Safety and Security
Supporter safety remains a top priority at Sewell Group Craven Park, with several important updates ahead of the new season.
A new matchday stewarding company has been appointed to improve the experience and safety of all supporters across the stadium. In particular, the East Stand has significantly more resources applied, to assist the ticket check-point / Craven Streat entry and also ensure all aisles marked in yellow are clear. Any supporters who do not cooperate with our safety teams will be asked to leave the stadium immediately.
The club will also have detection dogs in operation, helping to identify pyrotechnics and controlled substances. Any supporter found attempting to bring prohibited items into the stadium will face an indefinite ban, with no refund issued.
As a reminder, prams are not permitted inside the stadium, and the club is unable to offer pram storage. With Sewell Group Craven Park once again expected to be at full capacity throughout the season, prams can pose a risk to safe and efficient evacuation procedures, as well as not complying with enhanced safety and anti-terrorism measures.
Accessibility and Inclusion
Hull KR and the Hull KR Foundation are proud to continue improving accessibility for all supporters.
The Hull KR Foundation has introduced a new sensory room located in the Harry Poole Bar inside the One Point West Stand, located with a view of the pitch. This dedicated space is designed to support fans with additional sensory needs, including those affected by loud noises, bright lights or crowded environments, offering a calm and safe matchday experience.
The Hull KR Foundation Community Hub, located in the Wow Hydrate East Stand will be open (6:30pm - 8pm) for young supporters to participate in engagement activities, which will include Rugby League Live on PS5 consoles, pool tables, arts and crafts and more.
After kick-off, this Hub will be open throughout the game to offer our young fans a safe and quieter space to watch the game on the TVs if needs be.
Stadium Developments
To meet unprecedented demand, a new 1,000-seater South Stand will be in place for the full 2026 season, giving even more supporters the opportunity to experience matchdays at Sewell Group Craven Park.
Supporters seated in the South Stand will enter via the Craven Streat turnstiles (1–4), located at the South West corner of the stadium and then find access their reserved seat from the front of the stand.
In addition, extra toilet facilities have been installed for supporters in the East Stand Seating section, helping to improve comfort and reduce queues on matchdays.
Craven Streat Access
For the 2026 season, North Stand ticket holders and Full-season Members will be able to enjoy access to Craven Streat both before and after matches.
Supporters should enter via the Craven Streat turnstiles, because once you enter the North Stand, Craven Streat is not accessible until after the game. When ready to take your seats in the North Stand, you should exit Craven Streat via the same route and head to the North East corner, where entry will be granted upon presentation of a wristband. There is no access to Craven Streat for North Stand ticketholders and members during half-time.
Parking and Travel
As per previous seasons, car parking in the One Point West Stand is reserved for club partners and hospitality guests.
Willerby Caravans (HU9 5WA) is now the club’s official matchday car park. Located just a five-minute walk away from Sewell Group Craven Park, spaces are available on a first come first served basis, priced at £7 per vehicle.
Stagecoach Buses have also added a new 246 service on gamedays around East Hull.
Food, Drink and Fan Experience
Supporters can also look forward to an enhanced drinks offering across all concourses. New options include:
- Madri
- Staropramen
- Carling Dark Fruit
- Caffreys
- Caffreys Black
As per previous seasons, street food and additional drinks offerings will be available from local vendors in Craven Streat.
The club have also reinvested in big screen entertainment software, allowing fans to take part in a range of interactive activities and experiences throughout the season.
Hull KR would like to thank all supporters for their continued backing and cooperation. With these improvements in place, the club looks forward to welcoming fans back to Sewell Group Craven Park for another exciting Betfred Super League season.
