Big Hull and East Yorkshire Sleepout 2024

The aim of what is to be East Yorkshire's most talked about fundraising event in the 2024 calendar is to bring senior leaders of the region away from what they're used to, and spend a night sleeping out on the cold concrete of Sewell Group Craven Park during one of the coldest and wettest months of the year to raise money for three impactful local causes, Hull homeless and Rootless Project (Hull HARP), Dove House Hospice and Hull KR Foundation.

With minimal resources, you'll have to think creatively when it comes to keeping warm, dry and entertained.

Dove House Hospice

Dove House Hospice, located on Chamberlain Road in Hull, has been caring for people in Hull and East Yorkshire for almost 40 years. Patients and families are at the heart of everything they do, whether caring for people at the end of their lives, proving therapies to help people with life threatening illnesses improve their quality of life, or giving much needed bereavement support to grieving families.

Their care focuses on the needs of the person they're caring form not just their illness, and staff take the time to get to know patients and their families to help make staying at Dove House, a home away from home experience.

Hull HARP

Hull homeless and Rootless Project

Hull homeless and Rootless Project (Hull HARP) have been providing support to local homeless people since 1982, providing numerous life-saving services to people who have found themselves homeless, or at risk of becoming so.

Hull HARP are part of ‘All for one’ – a group of soup kitchens, food banks and teams who have joined up to give the best they can to anyone in need.

Hull KR Foundation deliver inclusive and impactful programmes to improve lives across Hull and East Riding. Inspiring people through the power of Hull KR, we deliver programmes in Health, Education, Employability and Physical Activity. Our Foundation enable people of all ages to get involved and work towards reaching their potential.
