Why are Hull KR taking a game to Amsterdam?
The 2025 RugbyLeague.com Amsterdam Challenge is not only going to be a great experience for existing supporters, but it will help grow the club and sport of Rugby League in a new territory.
The Hull KR Foundation has worked with Netherlands National Rugby League Governing body for some time, to assist them with their goal of becoming World Cup Accredited.
With over 100 rugby clubs in the country, it’s a natural territory for Hull KR to explore new male and female pathways and grow our footprint, in a neighbouring country.
Will it be the ‘full Hull KR Experience’?
Yes, fans can expect the full matchday experience they enjoy at Sewell Group Craven Park, along with events within the actual City itself. Further details of official fan parties will be confirmed soon.

Are ticket & travel packages available?
Yes, Catalans Sports Tours have been appointed the Official Travel Partner of the event and have packages on sale now. Whether it’s a “Dutch Dash” day trip, one or two-night stay, there’s options to suit all supporters from both clubs, and for a variety budgets.

When will the match tickets go on sale?
To ensure all fans booking official travel packages are guaranteed a match ticket, the game will not be placed on general sale until after the second instalment date of September 30th 2024.
Will the match sell out?
With a strong following from the UK expected, and local sales within Amsterdam, the event is expected to sell out ahead of gameday.
What if I arrange my own travel from the UK?
Supporters are strongly advised to use the official travel packages only, not only are they ATOL protected, but it’s the only way to initially guarantee a match ticket. In the event of a force majeure, the club would not be able to help or refund any supporters who make their own travel arrangements.
Additionally, official packages will include stadium transfers, plus full support to make your trip smooth and enjoyable.
My preferred ticket & travel option is sold out, will more be added?
Depending on demand, additional packages may be added, keep an eye on the Catalan Sport Tours website for the latest package availability. Places may also be released if any supporters who have place initial orders / deposits decide not to go ahead with their booking. Therefore, places may be released on October 1st 2024, and November 25th 2024, in line with the payment dates for packages.
Where will the game be played?
The match will be played at the NRCA Stadium, Amsterdam, which is the home of Rugby Netherlands.

What are the stadium travel links?
The stadium is conveniently located just a 20 minute drive from Schiphol International Airport, and just a 20 minute drive from Amsterdam Central Station. All supporters who book official travel packages here, will have stadium shuttle buses included within their package. Public transport is also available from Amsterdam City Centre to the Stadium, please check local information closer to gameday for details of the exact services which will be running.
What is the stadium capacity and configuration?
The stadium is a 4,000 capacity stadium, with 3,000 seats. All tickets will be sold as unserved general stadium access, it is not possible to reserve specific seats or stands within the ground. Therefore, supporters who wish to watch the game from a specific stand are advised to arrive early.
What disabled facilities does the stadium provide?
All of the ticket and travel packages are disabled friendly; however, you are advised to let Catalans Sports Tours know any specific requirements prior to booking to ensure any needs can be accommodated.

Does the stadium sell food and drink?
Yes, the stadium will be provided a full range of food and drink options. Please note you will not be able to enter the stadium with your own food or drink. Entry to the stadium will be denied to anyone who appears to be intoxicated.
