Hull KR Netball juniors to compete in Yorkshire Regional Tournaments
Hull KR are delighted to confirm the club's U14s and U16s Netball sides have both been invited to compete in Yorkshire’s Regional Tournaments over the next two weekends at EIS Sheffield.
Tomorrow, the Robins’ U16s will compete in their respective age group in the all-day tournament from 9am before the U14s head over to compete in their tournament the week after from 1pm at EIS.
The tournaments highlight the significant growth of Hull KR Netball following the first team’s inclusion in Yorkshire’s Regional League this Winter as the Robins’ pathways follow suit in receiving regional recognition.
Having earlier this year had the U13s compete in a World Cup-theme tournament in Newcastle, the Robins’ U14s and U16s will both look to compete in their Yorkshire Regional League age groups in 2024.
Head of Hull KR Netball, Olivia Park said: ‘It’s a great opportunity for the Hull KR girls to experience netball at a regional level.
‘We’ve had a great first season for juniors in the local league with some great talent coming through. I’m excited to see our U14s and U16s progress and develop following this regional tournament.’
