New supporter text service launched for home matchdays

Hull KR would like to remind supporters of our zero-tolerance stance on discrimination of any kind, and anti-social behaviour ahead of this weekend’s game.

The club are committed to creating a welcoming environment for everyone who visits the stadium on a matchday including players, fans, and match officials.

Discriminatory chanting, whether it’s intended as ‘banter’ or not, is not accepted or encouraged.

We actively celebrate the diversity of our local area, supporters and city and we encourage all fans to call out discriminatory language and behaviour.

Therefore, if you witness discriminatory or anti-social behaviour at a match, or around a stadium, please report it the nearest steward or via our NEW matchday text service.

Supporters at Sewell Group Craven Park can text REPORT to 07773038712 along with the location of the incident and details of what you have witnessed. All reports will be treated confidentially.

I.e. “REPORT – Persistent swearing, North Block C, Row X” or “REPORT – Discriminatory language, East Stand, front of stand 30m line, wearing blue cap.”

The text service will be monitored by our security team. Each text costs one standard message at your network rate. The club may share your details with Humberside Police if further information is required to assist with a criminal prosecution. The service will not be able to receive voice calls, so please only send text messages.

Supporters are also reminded not to enter the field of play under any circumstances. At the end of the last fixture, a number of younger supporters entered the field of play to interact with the players. ALL supporters, irrespective of age, are reminded not to enter the pitch. Players will be instructed not to engage in selfies, autographs or encourage this behaviour in any way. As always, players will make their way to the pitch fence lines to interact with supporters in a controlled and safe way.

Any supporter, irrespective of age, will be subject to stadium bans for entering the field of play.

Thank you for your support so far in 2022, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Sewell Group Craven Park this Sunday.
