SANDERCOCK LOOKING FOR REPEAT EFFORT

Having seen his side post their first victory of the 2012 last weekend, Craig Sandercock is looking for a repeat effort tomorrow when St Helens visit MS3 Craven Park (KO 3pm).
The Robins showed plenty of grit and determination in the win at Wakefield and Sandercock knows that his players will have to work just as hard against the Saints
"It wasn't a pretty game last week but we'll gladly take the two points, that's for sure," he said.
"There was a lot of positive talk out on the pitch and a period in the second half where we had to defend five or six straight sets on our line. If we can replicate that attitude this week, it'll go a long way towards making us competitive."
Saints have enjoyed a perfect start to the season with two wins from two outings and Sandercock is fully aware of the quality within their squad.
"It's a very big game for us," he continued. "If you have a look down their squad list it's packed full of ex-Australian and Kiwi internationals, as well a plethora of current England internationals, so we know it's going to be a very tough game.
"But we'll be putting 17 very committed boys out there who want to play for themselves and the team and hopefully that'll be reflected on the scoreboard.
"Saints have got threats all over the park and if we just concentrate on closing down one or two individual players that'll probably be to our detriment. We need to play well from one to seventeen and that should hopefully help us to nullify their threats."
Tomorrow also represents the Rovers boss' first home Super League game in charge and he's looking forward to witnessing a packed MS3 Craven Park in full voice.
"Ever since I arrived, people have been saying ‘wait until you experience your first home league game' and it's here now," he added. "I'm excited but, more importantly, so are the players and we're all looking forward to Sunday afternoon."
