Fit Living

An exciting initiative focusing on health, fitness and nutrition delivered by our experienced coaches to schools.

Issues such as childhood obesity are ever present in today's society and more concerning the number of children and young people suffering from weight problems seems on the increase. Therefore any opportunity to educate school children from an early age about food and nutrition, active lifestyles and safe life choices must be grasped. Vitally, this education must be delivered in a way that excites, inspires and empowers youngsters.

KS2 students will be taught the importance of healthy living and how fitness and nutrition improves their physical and mental development through an engaging programme introducing sporting activities which educate students on how to maximise physical and mental capabilities. Students will also undertake nutrition awareness activities which includes demonstrations and ‘hands on' food preparation lessons to ensure understanding of healthy eating. The programme is the catalyst for tackling child obesity by ensuring every student learning experience is memorable, lasting and valuable.

KS3 students will increase their understanding of health, fitness and nutrition within a constructive and pro-active environment and will learn how these factors impact on performance in everyday life.

For KS4 students we provide support and direction within a pro-educational and study environment aiming to motivate and educate which is extremely beneficial to the achievement of key qualifications such as GCSE's and BTEC. Through the programme students will improve their confidence, raise aspirations and self-esteem with a greater awareness of the impact of education.
